This course studies various literary theoretical-concepts that underly the basic approaches of literary criticisms. This course requires students to truly understand the theoretical concepts of literature and present simple examples of criticisms both in oral and written forms either as individual or group works.
Capaian Pembelajaran
  • Identify the object of literary studies
  • Differentiate various perspectives in literary theories
  • Identify important points of various literary theories
  • Develop a simple piece of paper presenting ideas of how different theories view the same literary text
  • Communicate the developed paper through classroom-level seminar
  • Evaluate the quality of the developed paper(s) by giving constructive comments and feedback in the classroom-level seminar
